This worsted weight, 2 ply, 100 yards skein of 100% alpaca yarn that is amazingly soft and beautiful. It's made of fiber grown by our alpaca herd and locally milled. This yarn is from our Satinka pictured. Alpaca fiber is naturally lightweight yet softer, more durable and warmer than wool. Our alpacas are bred to produce fine, consistent fleece high on the comfort factor. The fiber is sorted and graded which again, makes for a significantly higher quality yarn. Alpaca is hypoallergenic.
